SIMPLY. Logistic Systems delivers a 40-foot container loading and unloading machine to Schwing GmbH
How can heavy and bulky components be unloaded safely, ergonomically, and efficiently from a 40-foot container?
The new SIMPLY. 40-foot container loading and unloading machine provides an answer. SIMPLY. Logistic Systems GmbH recently delivered and commissioned the system at Schwing GmbH in Herne, Germany.
First practical test right after commissioning
Shortly after commissioning at the Herne facility, the system successfully completed its first practical test: boom package arms weighing approximately 10 tons were unloaded from a 40-foot container.
The SIMPLY. container unloading machine supported the entire unloading process and enabled controlled, ergonomic handling of the components. The first operation was a success and immediately demonstrated the benefits of the system.
Less physical effort, more efficient processes
When unloading heavy and bulky components manually, employees are exposed to significant physical strain. At the same time, such processes can be time-consuming and require considerable organizational effort.
The SIMPLY. solution addresses these challenges directly.
Its roller-mounted lifting forks allow heavy components to be moved in a more controlled manner during loading and unloading. This helps reduce physical strain on employees while improving the efficiency of material flow operations.
Schwing invests in optimized logistics processes
Based in Herne, Schwing GmbH is one of the internationally recognized manufacturers of concrete pumping and concrete conveying technology. The company develops and produces, among other products, truck-mounted concrete pumps, stationary concrete pumps, transit mixers, and concrete batching plants.
By investing in SIMPLY.’s container loading and unloading technology, Schwing is optimizing another key area of its internal logistics operations.
The successful first deployment involving components weighing around 10 tonnes clearly demonstrates how SIMPLY. technology can be used for the handling of heavy parts.
A successful project with a strong practical focus
The successful commissioning at Schwing is another example of how container unloading can be made safer and more efficient using appropriate technical solutions.
We would like to thank the team at Schwing GmbH for their professional and collaborative partnership and wish them every success with the new system, along with safe and efficient operations.
